Steve Hawkins is a videographer and progressive storyteller.

With over 35 years as a news camera operator and several decades as a union activist, Steve Hawkins brings an accomplished and varied resume to his professional videography. He has documented several of Canada’s most notable public events, from riots and peace marches to historic court cases and political controversies. His photography has been published in numerous books and magazines, and he has a growing record of art exhibitions and accolades. 

With a particular focus on environmental activism and social justice, Steve has an established record of engaging with civic organizations to raise awareness through visual storytelling.
